I found out what I did Don when I was editing an image today when I brushed back in the sky I used dissolved instead of normal by mistake I guess I rolled the center of my mouse to make the wrong selection.

Don the orginal image in tiff does not have grain when I edited it somehow it got the grain in it so I left it in. I used an 81a filter when I shot it. I made the tree a little lighter and left the background the same contrast as the orginal don't think I used a grain filter but I'm not sure.

This is a lovely photo! I think the tree looks very stately with the smaller trees in the background. Beautiful view and great colors!

Hallo Robert. Even I am not a fun of grainy like this in the sky, somehow the result is artistic. Perchaps a stronger contrast and deeper - darker colours could makes this looks more artistic but this is only my opinion - taste and nothing else.
