About Narrator Miss
_____________
I know her not
I met her short
but clearly she is
narrator Miss.

Well-known to waves
her stories base
natural gifts
to night?s thick mists.

Do sea waves dream?
Do poets speak?
Do angels cry?
Do seashells smile?

She says she is not
the one to talk,
but seems to lie
when silence hides
unspoken words,
uncovered thoughts.

Pale blue eyes
wisdom disguise.

Do stones feel?
Do poets speak?
Do flowers die?
Do seagulls hide?

I know she is
Narrator miss?

An image that seems to derive from the past, but it reveals some kind of humour , a tragic irony. One day we are all going to be like her, but...anyway, it is not so bad!Being sweet , neatly dressed and respected is all we need!
ps.A comment from an absolute beginner.

nice classic b&w picture. solid structure and good composition... the focus helps to focus on the subject.

"Nick Cave in Athens" for Greece is something like a cliche phrase! He adores Greece and always comes back. If you like him I might have a wow suggestion for on-line mp3s of a band called The Dresden Dolls ( what happens when musicians combine Brecht and Punk Cabaret!!)
start with "Missed me" & "Coin - operated Boy"...

Actually you will not find Nick Cave there, it is a suggestion to the general genre. You have a NC title and you also write you like him!!!
Greetings...

Many funny things have happened to me in the streets as I am daydreaming too much...Maybe the Greek government should do something about me, extra measures for cars or something! Thank Gods not many car accidents, and me always alive (laughs)! My guardian angels (3 of them as I am messy and they needed the job) keep an eye on me as well as this protective crowd of friends I have, who know what to do when we cross streets, go out for photos etc...
(I am far from perfect!!)

no, i asked about the scans because they look great, especially this one.

i didn't mean artificially cropped, i meant cropped in the camera, i.e. that's how you shot it.

And geez, yeah, you must stumble around in a daze half the time as you're conceiving shots and words at the same time...ut-oh, watch out when you cross the street..oh, no, Mary, watch out for the bus..oh lord, there's her camera run over while she saved her pencil! :)))

Unfortunately I do my own scans... Either I mess up or my scanner has a will!! Not all my scans are ok! (See the tones in some images? I forgot to save in grayscale mode!)
Worry not for cropping, the photo was shot this way.
I print the photos myself though, I consider myself good at printing , I have spent hours in the dark room listening to dark music...and making bright thoughts (laughs.)
The funny thing is that I like writing when I shoot photos, I guess I am a funny sight with the camera and the pencils wandering around! Many things fall from my hands!!

just super, Mar'..i do soooo love your work with people, from those witchy shoes in the hay, to the dancing feet to Narrator Miss who is as elegantly turned out in her "viajez" as she ever was in her 20's. i love the street-shot characteristics of this image, from the candid presentation of the subject to the tight crop at the bottom of the frame. And yummy, yummy tones..do you do your own scans??? (7+) It's absolutely excellent. kat~
