Hey good shot. I contrast to here it looks like you can walk in the woods without a machete and get to some of these great little creeks. i like how you have used the foree ground leaves to create depth in your photo. Congratulations! Cheers,Bartok

The Coolpix series does do great colour. Having visited Virginia a few times, I know that there are perhaps too many photo ops. Hard to stay on budget if you are shooting film.

Really nice composition on this one too, Rebecca - the water looks nice and refreshing and I like the added framing provided by the leaves in the foreground! I have to say, though, that this one also feels somewhat washed out and could benefit from a little levels adjustment to give it a bit more depth, and some saturation to bring out those greens. Again, hope you don't mind :)

Beautiful gentle babbling brook. Love the light softly sloping in from the right and the detailed leaves in the foreground which you would have to part to reveal this nostalgic story book scene. Lovely capture Rebecca.
