Impressing portrait and impressing digital B&W.
The 10D does a quite good work at B&W, much better than the 300D !

What amazing eyes she has! Truly beautiful focus and DOF too. Remarkable little girl, especially. And how cute are those little paint streaks. I can definetly see the resemblance ;)

If the genius from Cadaques ever had a daughter this could have been her!...
Let me share a story about Dali with you.
During a meeting with Turkish photographer Ara Guller, Dali was requested for an interview with three local journalists. He did not feel like an interview at that time.
"I'll handle this in a few minutes and then I'll toss them out".
He sat down, both his hands on the silver handle whilst looked severely at the reporters.
"You! Tell me what the formula for goudron is!. The young reporter seemed to be quashed inside himself, looked around and didnt' find anything to say. Now it was the turn of the other reporters? "You! he said to the second reporter as he again demanded the formula from goudron. Again no answeer. And then it was the turn of the third. When she also did not answer, he opened his hands that had been clutched across his can and majestically said:"The formula for goudron is H2C4K812B1486". The young reporters stared into his face with surprise. He wanted to repeat the formula but could only remember part of what he had made up. He then raised his silver cane into the air and said in his deepest voice. "If I pick this cane up and tip it into groudron it will be worth a hundred thousand dollars. If you did the same they would call you crazy and you would be left with a dirty cane. Now, whatever you understand of what I have told you, write it down in your articles. That's the difference between me and other people".
"That's it. This press conference is over!" He then grabbed the reporters by the arms and pushed them out the door. When he got back to the middle of the room he turned to Ara Guller and said "That was the worlds shortest and clearest press conference".

... Pure Genius....
