interesting angle, the light brings out the livliness of the flower... beautiful flower! could be better if the flower was isolated though. but some things arent really possible at times huh.

Very beautiful lilac colour and so wonderful dof! I really enjoy how those "inner things" (sorry my bad english...haha) are so sharp, and then the petals so soft like silk!

Ted - you are really boosting my image here! I am a total amateur but I try and try and try - and I also learn from the masters at UseFilm. When I go out shooting flowers or ducks, I come home with hundreds of images. Most of them I discard because I don't think they are worth showing it to anybody. But every now and then I am lucky and get the shot that I was wishing and aiming for - and that makes it so much more worth it :-)

I will put this pfoto among my favorites!
Everything is excellent. The colours of the flower incontrast to the colour of the BG, the very delicate focus(the best of the pic), the composition!

I took 12 images of this flower. I first concentrated on the stamen (??) and then thought it would be nice to "highlight" the shorter little "petals" inside the flower. At the same time, I also wanted accentuate the green "leaves" on the outer bottom of the flower. I had a lot of fun with this one :-)

Outstanding flower macro, Linn. Great angle and a fantastic DOF. Could not be bettered IMO.
