I saw this wonderful car on a spring afternoon, and I ran home to get my view camera. Depth of field and perfectly straight columns were very important, which is why I felt I needed the view camera. It was a very difficult image to make: a wide angle was used only 2 feet from the front of the car. Therefore, front and rear tilt had to be adjusted for front to back sharpness, and the back tilt had to be adjusted to straighten the columns. Due to the adjustments, it took about 15 minutes before the image was focused properly. However, the versatility of the view camera is why I love to use it. For me, there is nothing more immediate and satisfying than a view camera.
