About Treasure hunting. This cave fills with water when the tide is in. I told my kids that all sorts of treasures can be discovered when the tide is out.

that is beautiful, After a day of trouncing around there they must sleep well. You wouldn't believe how much people pay for stones like that in texas. Oh what is the most interesting thing they have found? I like the black and white pants and shirt against the rocks also.

Hi Ron,

This is a really beautiful example of a style that I call "A Little Bit of Something In A Lot Of Nothing." I think it's normally very effective, and you really carried it off superbly.

Your composition is great - I like the way you divided the image vertically 2/3 cave wall and 1/3 that beautiful pebble beach. The muted colors of the wall and beach are set off really nicely by the figure dressed in black and white.

I have a blog post on my photo blog about this style, but your example is better, in my opinion. You can read about it at:

Best regards,

Thanks for your comments. This is an excellent photo. I love the rocky landscape. If this was printed really big, I could get lost looking at all of the details.
