Christine, glad to hear Max is feeling a bit better. You must hang in there - Max will sense your emotions and stress. Of course it is difficult not to worry and fuss over Max, but give his system credit and believe that he will pull through this.
I have lost two cats - one to cancer (young girl, 18 months old) and the other was my first Ragdoll. She developed pancreatitis and after a week of intensive care, two surgeries, medications, etc. ... we couldn't save her. This is pain that nobody understands, unless they have an immense love for animals.
Max is going to be fine - you must believe it.

This is one amazingly gorgeous kitty. Those crystal skyblue eyes are astonishing. His coat has the most wonderful warm shades. What a beauty. Thank you for your thoughts and hug for Max, he is a little better today again. Another good step forward.

Elahe, you are so sweet :-)
The Angels are no longer doing fine - the little devils have taken over! They are still in their kitten room and on Sunday they will be set free. I always wait a week after their first vaccination before they can mix with the other cats.
They are still as pretty as ever though, and soon they will take over the house and cause a lot of mayhem :-) What fun!
You will have to be patient for more kitten pics. Our other litter (4 kittens) are nearly six weeks old and soon I will capture their little beautiful faces :-)

Elahe, this particular cat has the BICOLOUR pattern and her colouring is SEAL.
The serious looking cat (KC) is MITTED and she is also SEAL.
The other pattern available in the Ragdoll breed is COLOURPOINT. They have the same pattern as the Siamese breed.
Other colours in the Ragdoll breed is Blue (which looks like slate grey); Cream; Red; Blue/Cream; and very rarely will you find Lilac and Chocolate. The kittens that I posted are all Blue and they have the Lynx (Tabby) pattern the Mitted pattern.
This is fun educating you on the Ragdoll breed. Much more information and pics on my website at www.ragdoll.co.za
Bye Linn

Andy, Ragdolls in general are supposed to be very loving, very relaxed and totally devoted to their owners. That is the general breed description. There are exceptions though, and that is why reputable breeders will strive to only "work" with lines that produce these attributes, as well as of course health and size.
Not all Ragdolls will be "in your face" and on your lap all day long, but they will follow you around and make sure that everything is observed, approved of and assisted with :-)
In general they are quiet cats with a pleasant voice. They are almost puppy-like in that they are easy to train.
Should you ever consider a Ragdoll but wish for the coloured coat, there are non-pointed Ragdolls available. They have the same personality attributes. Let me know if ever you are interested in one, and I can assist in finding you a reputable breeder closes to you.
Purrs to Cassiopa! :-)

She is so precious, love the pink nose and blue eyes. How is the disposition of a ragdoll? Is it similar to a Maine Coon or are they a little more vocal?

A successful photograph takes into account all four sides of the frame, and it looks like it here. Well done. The white part of her face almost blocks out, but barely. Great pose; she really is a pro.
