everything is said by Emgy ,I like the composition, the rocks add to the picture, the boats are very beautiful,I think a little bit of contrast would be better,I like this picture.

Hi Bill,
This is a lovely and picturesque scenary, very pleasing to look at. I like the atmosphere created by the colourful boats and I like the way you captured them. The rocks on the foreground and the buildings on both sides form a natural framing and give a good impression of depth. I agree with Steve about cloning out the floodlight.I also think that the contrast could be better. The little noise in the image could be the consequence of the scanning and it isn't a big deal, really.
Nevertheless, a good shot, Bill
Check the attached version. I'd like to knoe if you think it improved or not.

Hi Bill,

Really nice photo! I like the way you capture the many-colored boats here, along with a really good rendering of the water. Your use of rocks in the foreground and the far shore is great.

I thought I didn't like seeing the sliver of wall of the house on the left, but on playing with your image in Photoshop, I realized it was only the little floodlight that bothered me - easily cloned out by using the adjacent foilage.

A wonderful photo, bringing back wonderful memories of a few day trips to Rockport over 25 years ago. I really have to get back to there.

Funny you should post this one, as without realizing it, I posted a nautical scene myself, probably only seconds later :-)

Best regards,
SteveR
