This is very nice... it feels a lot more intimate with the heron, and the fact that I can see catchlights in the eye really adds some life to this shot. The colours are really well saturated and the main focus is the heron, no doubt about it. Perhaps that one strip of sunlight on the tree bark could be burned a little to tone it down, but it's still a very good capture. Love the detail in the feathers!
