I've never seen anything like this flower. It's captivatin the way you took it, Rui.

I strongly recommend the you aquire a ring flash. It's not too expensive and once you get used to it it's lots of fun.

Rui, do you still have access to this flower? If so, don't you want to shoot a macro side-ways. Focus on the centre - I think it will look spectacular as you will have the whispy petals out of focus, but you will bring out the beautiful and contrasting colours of the centre.
