( this is the first one of a serie of pictures i decided to try something diferent...do a walk and take picture at everything that catch my eye and try to describe what went in my mind at teh time )...( also to do something diferent than nudes, sunsets and flowers...have people lost their imagination??? _I Hope you guys like it) It's exactly 15.31 and 21 seconds in the afternoon of 9 of May. I started a walk along the Singapore River. I wanted to get away from Buildings and the big city, but this is Singapore, the country is a big city. At that moment i remember Heidi who wanted to go to the tallest building in her town to see the mountains where she grows up. ( the things that come into your mind when you live on a island) Also at exactly 15.32 pm i noticed the Boat with tourists taking a picture. I decided to take a picture of them to. It will be the tourist picture within the tourist picture
Hi Nuno, For the creativity and idea behind this shot, I'll give you top marks. Very good message: Have people lost their imagination???
Hmmm. I sure hope not! Very good story, and that is what makes this shot. It also addresses the age-old saying a picture can tell more than a thousand words. If that's true about this shot? I'd say i'll leave it at that this shot will tells a different story for all viewers so far... The story you tell is the exact right one, but also a very biased one. What would the tourists on the boat have experienced at 15.32....?
Yeah, I know, I'm getting carried away here. Ad to the photo, I think the vignetting does cast a gloomy spell around the scene. Loosing imagination? With me rambling on, I expect to be on the safe side!
Cheers,
Hugo.
Steve? Fantastic Photo? Where's your imagination, Buddy! (Just joking....;o)
