I guess I find the image as is a complete story with the two separate images a weak comprmise. I find the orignal very thought provoking -- my 1st thought was what is that game?? The second was mmmm a good cup of coffee....the two together...very fine indeed...IMHO (I hate that IMHO thing but there it is)

I agree all three are good choices although the last one seems a bit off.

I think the second image stands OK, but the first image you have cropped of the coffee cup looks lonely and a bit dull. When I photograph in cafes I try to add a bit of depth to the subject matter - creating a bit of a theme thus that's why I included the board game originally. I could have cropped my image a little to the right just to centre the coffee cup a little bit more.

I like all three versions . . . on the original I like that the eye travels back and forth, as if one is playing, then sipping, then playing . . . can't find fault with the cropped ones either . . . choice of three goods . . . I like when that happens . . .

Hi Sean. Like the light but find the composition distracting. There are two competing images in this one and i find myself going back and forth from cup to game without being able to settle on one or the other.
