This is a former State Mobile Dental Services caravan. Flinders Island is a largest Bass Strait island of 55 islands and islets know as the Furneaux Group. It is part of Tasmanian territory and has a small population of about 1000 inhabitants. Coincidently 18 months before I discovered the other mobile State Dental Services caravan on King Island in a friend's horse shed. Another coincidence took place the day before I made this picture at the nearby Wybalenna historic site chapel. Here I ran into the sole resident of another Bass Strait island - Three Hummock Island. I'd spent a few days on his island around the time I was at King Island. Strange how we meet and cross paths sometimes.
