About
The friendly folks at my favorite photo shop gave me a roll of the new Kodak Ultra Color (UC) color negative film to try out. So I spent 10 days shooting various types of scenes. On this shot I used an external meter to determine the exposure. Since the colored lights were continually changing, I had to check this paticular sequence twice to make sure the EV reading was consistent. Then it was just a matter of locking up the mirror and bracketing. This particular shot was at 1/4 second at f/4 + 1/2 stop. A relatively simple shot, but it took almost an hour.
George, this is an amazing piece of work on your part. The hour you put into this was well spent. The color are gorgeous. I take it, you'll be using more of the UC film? Jimmy
Hi George, nice image. A difficult shot to get off... By the way, "Moro" means Moor, and "morro" means promontory or small hill. A small change that makes for a big diference... Take care George... Helder
