About	Close up (300 mm), the very narrow DOF combined with the guitarplayer movnig slightly made that not the strings but the front of the guitar is in focus. Therefor I saw it as a bad try, but some people seem to like it as it is. So here it is, please comment...

The photo would have been less interesting if you got the strings in focus. I like it this way.
Where was it taken and which band was it?

No, I don't think an image of this nature needs this much fuzziness. If everything were sharp and the fingers motion blurred, that would be a different matter. What is the use of the dark area on the left?
