Thanks for your comment on stretching. I didn't darken the left paw, because IMO it gives a special effect in depth!

A very nice image that captures the essence of a cat. I am a bit distracted by the perspective distortion of his left paw. (bottom right of image) Did you consider darkening that out in PS?
