Hi Bill, obviously it is very easy when you work with a big flower like the Gerbera, Dahlia and some daisies. For the more intricate flowers like the orchids, iris, etc. you either need a flippin good macro lens to fill the image, or you need to play around and see which petals (and centre) will give you a nice frame. But if you are digital, it is cheap to shoot as many images of the same thing - and the more you practice, the easier it (sometimes!) become :-)
