A photo like this would totally make my trip to Italy worthwhile. Humanity in one window. Infinity in the next. Awesome colors. Art and opportunity at its best.
Cheers, Leora.

Stunning, stunning, stunning and stunning. Man it really grabs me. Can imagine this as a print on my wall! And I'd gladly pay for it!

May I agree with Carmem about the judgement on this shot? :)
Really excellent! The woman that looks in the distance gives the final touch! Very well seen and composed! Congrats!

Good perspective and beautiful colours. Love the reflections in the glass window, and the fact that you've got a figure in the window above.

7!

Hi Walt, Wonderful shot. I like the human presence in it, and the perspective is perfect. The reflection of the sky in the lower window also adds to the tension, already created by the woman sticking her head out of the top one. The inclusion and composition of the lantern in the top left corner is fantastic. It makes the composition less centered, which, IMO also increases the balance of this shot. Very well captured!~

Cheers,

Hugo

Bellissima la testolina della signora che spunta ed il lampione vivacizza una composizione già molto originale e cromaticamente accattivante.
Ciao e alla prossima super-walt.

Excellent, Walt! Three things for me that add a lot to this image: The woman's head peering cautiosly out the top window; the gleaming, new modern window inside the old, rustic frame; and the lack of a top to the building, giving the impression that it goes on forever...

Very clever perspective! Lovely colors and love the sky reflection! I do wish to see more of the person's face on the 2nd floor. Great job!

Ciao Max

Jeroen Krol   {K:3085} 5/28/2004
Walt,

it is superb how you added subjects in this photo! It is impossible to to see everything in here within a second. You have to watch and watch again, like to woman and the clouds.

Normally, multiple subjects within one singel image are distracting, but you made a rare combination work. Perfect!

Compliments,
Jeroen

Walt, you deliver a great composition that lives from the color teamwork, the scary angle and the double window with the old lady. btw: the sky reflection adds also a nice touch ;-) not sure about the lamp though. I don't think that the lamp is necessary. great image anyway. cheers, thilo
