Very beautiful view from Nebraska. Great colours combination. There are a number of colours mixd with. The birds seems curious to touch the sun beam through the reflection.
The picture looks like painting, not only this but your another lanscapes also.

hello M.,
well your image have 504x364 pixels (dimensions) and it could have until 800x800 pixels...so you could use a bit more of that area...a bigger image creates another impact...I think...regards!!!
...another thing, only the images that are upload with critiques must have only until 500 pixels...

Beautiful tones, looks like the water is on fire. Those green are very vivid. The Blue Heron's name is probably Wally as it is somewhat hidden, but I see the picture much more as a landscape than about the bird.
By trying to include the bird maybe you opened the zoom a bit too much. That sand banks under the Blue Heron looks like pollution (I know its not, but at first glance...). May I suggest you experiment with cropping to turn them into a margin of the river?
That's a minor point, anyway. Should do well on any wall. Congratulations.
