Hi Jon, good composition. The almost excessive framing by the foliage creates the atmosphere of a "sneak peek". Very well composed. The main twig in this composition splits the photo a bit. Cropping a bit off the left side is an option, though. Not vital to the image, as the composition in its current state is still very well balanced. The fact that the landscape is demoted to a secondary subject, forcing the canoe and the people into the "spotlight" is a very good touch. The wide composition shows enough of the scenery, and the people liven up the image. They also manage to hold the viewers attention, which I always think is an important quality in a photo. Very well captured!
