Great picture. Makes me think how much would I prefer to be at least on THIS side of the creek once in a while! Great idea to de-saturate the composition! This is definitely one of pictures to hold you longer than usual... I always appreciate the kind of art works which could draw you into lengthy discussion or view on something from different prospective. I consider it a big success to see one. Congrads!!

quite an interesting composition!!! beautiful work this is!!! P.S. about your comment about portuguese photographers and colour...well my explanation is that we are a very sunny country, full of light in great part of the year and colors make part of our lifes almost everywhere...so maybe because of that we became sensible to them...regards.

:) Armen, thatn you for your comment. Tallinn... Don't say it to me I've not been there for 4 years... Miss it so much. My many armenian friends studied with me in Tartu University. I also have couple armenian friends here, in DC. This image is moody. Loniless is key-word. I'll gona check your other images.

solitude standing in front of an unsual industrial landscape: good eye for a very interesting shot! if we were in film-land i might have have suggested to push contrast a little bit - just out of curiosity, in digital i am sure there are plenty of ways to try and enhance it....
