Hi Uwe, very powerful shot, and a very well balanced composition. the diagonal chain and the gradient in the sky are perfect. I only think the shaded areas could use a tad more contrast, and are a bit dark for my taste. On the other hand, the metal is excellently captured in the brighter parts. Very good shot, and an original subject.

hallo pia,

wäre glaub ich schwierig geworden mit der mamiya, die kette ist hier nämlich nur knapp 7 cm vom objektiv entfernt gewesen und das hätte ich mit der grossen alten dame nie fokusiert gekriegt glaube ich. die kette sieht zwar riesig aus, die ist aber in wirklichkeit eher recht klein...;-)

Das Quadrat passt sehr gut hier. Es wäre auch ein hervorragendes Motiv gewesen für deine Mamiya, damit die Strukturen besser zur Geltung kommen.

hast schon recht thilo, die kontraste sind aufgrund des harten sonnenlichts ebenfalls sehr hart, vielleicht zu hart. entweder ich hätte das ganze aufhellen müssen (z.B. mit einem reflektor oder einem blitz, was bei so kompakten digitalen kameras imemr so eine sache ist) oder ich muss es nochmal bei bewölktem himmel versuchen...;-)

Hallo Uwe,

sehr schöne Farben, passende Unschärfe, sehr interessantes quadratisches Format. auch die geometrie mit dem "mittelteiler" und der diagonale gefällt mir gut. das bild an sich ist allerdings ziemlich dunkel/schattig - etwas mehr von der interessanten oberfläche hätte vielleicht nicht geschadet (nur so ne idee) =)
