About	I took this picture about an hour before sunset in the Yorkshire Dales. I was struck by the beauty of the back-lit leaves against the hazy blue light of the shaded fell side and the way the foreground tree seems to envelope the background tree. I used a polariser to help bring out the green in the leaves.

Chris, yes the leaves are quite yellow but this is how it was with the back light. My wife and I commented on the fact that the leaves of many of the trees in The Dales were some way behind in their development compared with here in Hampshire and a number of them still had that initial golden tinge to them that disappears after a few weeks.
