I've never seen a living katydid before...only the dessicated brown husks left behind. It is plain to see how leaf-like they really are.

I'm on the bandwagon that says we might as well have a rubber stamp to comment on your images. They all are great. I'm with John...please post something mediocre, out of focus, poorly framed....something like one of my typical images...so we know you are human.

Your steady stream of intelligent images is quite impressive.

The reason for the clipped antenae is because they are very long and if you try to include them the bug starts looking small at these web sizes.

Ronnie,
Another great shot, but I wonder why did you crop the antennas of the cricket? (I hope it is a cricket and that the appendices on the head are called antennas as it is in spanish).
Best regards.

Linn, what no comment on the pink.. are you sure you even saw the bug? I'll be you never even noticed it! Just the pink right? Yup should have known..

Oh Ronnie. I second Linns comments of a rubber stamp... I'M SICK AND TIRED OF YOUR MAGNIFICANT IMAGES! Can you please post a mediocre one just for laughs? Come on it would help us mediocre photographers!
