Thank you, Richard, for your kind comments. I have to admit that the deep shadows on my daughter's face (and thus much of the impact of the photo) were somewhat unintentional - I goofed slightly setting the exposure :-] But it works, whattheheck?
cheers,
Jon

G'day eh. Standing in the shadow of her mother, a condition many of us know when faced with a successful parent. This portrait says so much, and is beautifully composed. Congrats Jon, on a fine image.

The question is, "Are you good enough for them?" Both look great. Do they deserve you? OK---just having a bit of fun...and when it all settles....very nice photo! Love the soft blue eyes on...the wife----solid and well done. Jim

I like your image. The grey tones are good and the blue eyes stand out. I would have liked a little more light on your daughter. Good work.
