Awesome macro, Tom. That is a frightening looking creature up close. Great detail. Lou

Fantastic macro: so much detail it's quite amazing. You can tell she needs at least a shave!

So, how close to it were you in fact? I'm curious because I use a homemade macro lens which forces me to get about one single inch away to get some of the subject into focus.

Congrats, very impressive work!

This is no longer a macro image but a micro picture. You must have used the lens in retro position in this case. Would be interesting to know more technical details on this FANTASTIC shot. 7+++
Regards,
Gustav

You've got this one perfectly in focus - this is an amazing shot. I love all the detail. It makes me try to wonder what his eyes are seeing and what his (her?) bug brain is thinking while you were taking this.

This is one heck of a macro shot! I am not sure I really like seeing this bug that close up...lol but you did a wonderful job showing so much detail...it may be more information than I wanted to know though...lol
Nice shot!
