About Horses are every where only next to sheeps in Ireland. I have noticed that horses like solitude and there own company. This one was not pleased at all that I was trying to click. All it wanted was to be left alone. You can see the exasperation on his looks.

There was a fence before it. I had to clone it away. But its a bad job. I have got a clue about how to clone things with out too much distraction. Would appreciate if some one could tell how.

Great shot. I like the way the shoreline leads the eye to the horse, or is it the other way around? I wouldn't have noticed the cloning if you hadn't pointed it out.

This a a beautiful picture. The horse is just elegant.

Re: Cloning. Here are some things I have learned--The cloning function usually is a process not an immediate or direct effect. So--
1.) Don't drag the clone stamp if there is any pattern in the source. Doing so leaves the "rubber stamp" repeated look. If the source is plain, though, dragging works great.
2.) Enlarge the image so that you can see the effect clearly--but reduce occasionally to make sure it looks OK in the whole visual context.
3.) Change the size of the brush when working in a big area. Gives more control and variety.
4.) Reduce the opacity and/or flow settings. Opacity set even as low as 20% or so allows you to build up the effect and gives greater control.
5.) Use the "aligned" setting as a default.
6.) I have a number of books and articles that I would be happy to send you. Just let me know at foto-art@comcast.net.
All the best

Hello Chris, Thank you for the note. Nowadays I am just worn out by work. Just no time what so ever for learning photography. I just post some images and go away. Thats why I haven't visited your portifolio recently.

Regarding the digital manipulation - as an experienced fellow in digital, What book would you recommend? I would realy love to learn. Right now I am just ruining my photos !!!!.

REgards, ken.
