I too was drawn in here because the thumbnail was confusing. Another great discussion going on, and I agree that the hot spot is bothersome, but also agree that the image that you saw and captured has such wonderful texture. Your most recent work has really inspired me "again" to work harder on seeing tighter cropped images in my mind's eye.

Our eye will ALWAYS go to the brightest part of an image first, you can't help it... That said the hot spots do bother me. What I'm most impressed with is that you had your camera (like you most always do) with you and while the ladies were off shopping you were finding images! The only way we get better at "seeing" is to work at it! Your body of work is a clear testimony to that work ethic. Your images reflect your desire to learn and grow and stretch yourself in a creative way. Excellent!

I like the highlights - think it adds to the interest of the shot which could be a bit plain if toned town. Nice shot. - best ~Ed

Steve, this is one of those photo's that I had to open to be able to tell what it was. I really like the textures and colors. The tight crop adds the touch of mystery. Love it! (no-I don't love the highlights)

Hi Steve, Love this shot and would love to see more. I think this is very stylish, like to see more of the bags themselves, their textures and colours. Very vogue I think. The overexposed part is too dominating, maybe toning down in PS might take the glare off. Thanks for sharing.
