About This photo was taken at the recent May Buddha's Birthday celebrations in Korea. Note the "funny" hats! I could only guess that they have some association with the tradition of the prayer wheel since they whirled rappidly with the movement of the head. I had never seen anything like them before and it was a surprise sight to see.
