dear robert,
it's been long since i have last commented on one of your photos, but it couldn't be helped.
i also won't be able to be on uf with my comments as often as i'd like to.
i love the way you composed this image. beautiful concentration of flowers on a corner and wings in diagonal position.
the butterfly species is also unknown to me but it's a gorgeous one with many remarkable details.
beautiful sharp shot and splendid colors.
excellent work.
i've read your comment on riny k's photo and i'd like to thank you for caring. i'm ok now. still on pain killers all day though, and very frustrated cause i have my right shoulder, shoulder blade and arm broken and i can't do a thing with my left hand, not even type properly, let alone shooting. it will take a while before I am fully functional again on uf. meanwhile i will be sitting here admiring your new posts and i plan to soon be writing comments again even if i will be slow.

Super photo Robert - I get confused between two butterflies, I wondered about the Large Tortoishell but I think this one is the Painted Lady :-)

Great wildlife shot of a Distelfalter (Cynthia cardui) great colors and fine DOF. This butterfly comes to this part of Europe during the month of May and in summer time from Southern Europe and Northern Africa. Itis unsuallly found here in gardens and parks and in the alpes it can bee seen in hights of up to 2000 meters.
