About	During the monsoon season in India the Ganga River litterally will burst it's banks and flood the plains. It will deposite enough soil for the next planting season. Also in the deluge comes many other objects and this broken boat is one of them. Note the inclining debrise going way up the bank behind the boat if your eyes can stray away from the statue, it one of many Hindu deities. Erroticism was a common symbol of fertility in past seasons within the Hindu religion.

Interesting story but I'm not sure I can appreciate the connection between the boat and the figure. Unless it refers to the 'ballbusting' work that fishermen endure ;)
