Oh, I see Christian! Never thought of it THAT way ... very clever! ;-) Merci beaucoup! I know just a few words in French but think that it?s a very beautiful language!

Hello Matej,
your suggestion is close to the original. I did push the contrast severely to convey a personal impression. It may be here too that specific monitor settings will let the shadows pass enough details or else, in some other cases, crash in bleak darkness.

Thanks for your appreciation. Yes, I did push the contrast almost to the limit here. I wanted to let way to the night.

Thank you Elisa. It was a nice break for a couple of hours and I decided to photograph ... aiR !
In French, "R" and "air" are pronounced the same.

A really good one for the beginning of summer!
And refreshing too!
(a bit to dark perhaps? I think Matej Maceas was right!)

Franz

Why not rest. Good way to end it with a great scene like this. Very nice. Don.

I find this one too dark, mainly in the lower left area. The tones of the clouds look good so I wouldn't change much there, but I'd be in favour of some local dodging of the lake. Something like this:

Hey Christian - great storm front here! I hope it's just gone past and not on it's way to you. The late evening light is really nice, complete with reflection on the water :) I think the exposure is very good, show control over the contrast. Good stuff - neil

Yes, it?s time to rest ... getting darker! Fantastic cloud formations! The tree on the right is too tall though; you should have cut it off ;-)

Thank you so much for the trip to Magog!
