Thank you, Angelo. Yes, you're right, this photo is too and contrasty. It was about 1,00 PM or 2,00 PM, so the sunlight was very shrp and aggressive. I've tried to make this picture softer. If I make it more soft, I lose wood texture on thr door.
This is a good texture study on "old" or abandoned stuff. Scenes that one passes everyday without noticing. You are doing good by looking out for these things.
To me, this photo looks a little too dark and contrasty, would have been nice to have more tones, smoother gradation. Maybe it is the effect you wanted to achieve, to show harshness of the old objects. This is a matter of personal taste.
I like the positioning of the old shoe, but would have cropped out that little section of wall to the right.
