Excellent composition. The increasing size of the droplets, color gradient and composition all work nicely together. I think this is the strongest of the drop photos. Great work.

Hey Tom, thanks for your comment and glad you like this shot... This idea came into my mind, when I saw the rainbow color effect from one of my CDs near to the windows (see how messy my table is :>) and some droplet of water on my table. Then I decided to give a try on this last Sat.
Might be posting few more shots on those drops and hope you can give me your comments and ideas.

Hi Hugo, yes... it's a CD. The colors are pretty even... i've seen some with lots of lines and quite messy. I took this indoor near to my windows. I shall try your method putting a soft box.

Thanks for your comment, Alan... Yes, I used a golden color CD and was taken indoor, tried white but the color is not as attactive as the golden color CD :>

Hi Bobby, Excellent experiment. The combination of refraction and reflections as well as the perspective add a huge appeal to this shot. Maybe a tad fuzzy, but none the less an excellent shot. Maybe setting up a semi transparent screen in front of the window, thus placing less attention to the reflection of the window in the drops would produce a more "homogenic" image? Using a soft box or something similar could also work, as long as it's brighter than the peripheral background. Amazingly bright and vivid tones / colours. Great capture! Please, continue playing with CDs and drops... )

I like drops if they are good, and this is very good. If I were to guess, I can see the window scene in the drops, is this on a cd ? Anyway very nice graphic.
