Another very nice 'portrait' Rebecca - again the detail here is amazing! Shooting into the sun can give some wonderful glowing highlights to plants and interesting shadows, too. The occasional flare and overexposure (as on the roof, here) can always be dealt with later. Love that these are taken in 'Rustburg' :)

I bought a Fuji Finepix S5000, and I have one, but had been using an old telewide converter and was in a hurry, did not get it out and put it on.

Actually like this shot better than Plymouth Rocks despite the flare. Are you using a lens hood? Are they even available for your new camera?

Nice image, thanks for sharing. My father's first car was a Plymouth similar to this. I bet you'll have collectors searching for this one!
(Now we also know how your town got its name ;-)

...and the story continues, that is no lens flare my dear, that is the ghost that drives that wicked blood splattered hulk of metal. It is sitting there amongst the delicate wild flowers with the soft tree fronds upon its hood merely to deceive. Absolutely superb B/W and all its eerie implications. Keep going, the relics you find are fascinating and you capture them so well.
