Hey John, Glad you enjoyed the photo. You're right about Yosemite. Actually, I'm on my way back there in a few more weeks and then again in the fall. I go at least 3 or 4 times a year. Gotta do that hike up to Halfdome someday...

Well done Laurie! I thought this image might be better if it were filipped left-right but I was wrong. The was you've done it leads us with the road but keeps the road from becomming the subject. Hard to beat Yosemite isn't it! Cheers - jb

You have a very diverse portifolio, this shot here is very exceptional. The colors are nice and the DOF is intrguing because of the way the road curves and just lets you ponder where it leads to. Congrats...

I love the photograph itself; that recently wet road and the glowing colours are well captured. It's a wee bit overpowered by that frame, though, with the title and name and all... especially as those details are already available close by. But perhaps this is to discourage people from copying and using the photo without attribution? I can understand that! This is certainly good enough to tempt people...
