As i feel abit lonely myself atm this photo affected me bigtime.. Really a sad moment there! Seeing all the people that have a fun time with their loved ones... This photo has so much to tell! Great shot.. one that will last for a long time and have the same impact everytime. Classic!

the isolation of the man is mirrored by the lonely, never-ending ocean. makes the people on the beach seem insignificant, maybe even incomprehensible to 'bigger issues' out there. great photo.

Distantly seen the photo in small size reminds your style and the isolation-and-continuation- free feeling of the movie "L'anee derniere a Marienbad" (Persi sto Marienmpant) by Allen Renee.
When I enlarged the photo and saw the artist and the actual scene I thought about the same things, accurately rough guess, but for different reasons.
powerful...sentimental and full of lines that balance all feelings of isolation and make the image playful
I could "dance the orange" for this image.
