Bev, just came across this in random images. What an extraordinary image. Just beautiful! I guess the days of black and white film are limited if you can make a photo of this beauty with a digital. This is as good as any black and white flower photo I have ever seen I think. I don't know how you could improve upon this image. Keep them coming.

This is a very stunning image. I love flowers in black and white. This is gorgeous. Nice styling of the foreground and nice placement of the flower in the frame. Great lighting. Worthy of a print. If you can't print it send it to me and I'll print it for you. Thanks for sharing this one. james

These Lilies are the flower images to point to when we someone using on camera flash for flower macros. These ARE the reason we learn control and position for lighting. Excellent job Bev.

Thumbnail grabbed me immediately, Bev. Really nice image. I love high contrast pics such as this which still retains a fair amount of mid-range tones & detail. Would like to see a little more dtail in the shadow area which is probably there in the original and lost in compressing for the web. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Very nicely done.
