About It was an overcast day and very hazy in NYC. The image is decent, but after playing a bit with filters, I decided to go up to a 4 and blow out everything else to get the contrast going in the statue..

An excellent play, this one jumped at me even thumb size which sure often doesn't do on its own. Maintains good range despite use of in your face contrast (= good neg), this is really a winning shot and works very well full-bleed to the edge (don't buy that nonsense about burning in the corners, it would look ridiculous) - but, perchance did you use tmax400, or are maybe mistaken about the shutter speed - 500th @ f16 would be beyond sunny16, which sure isn't gonna happen on an overcast day (i always ask silly questions like this, dont worry)
GREAT IMAGE*
