Exquisite perfection and lovliness. Awesome windblown capture, her expression is radiant. I love the classic nature of the B&W yet the cropped colour one has a lovely appeal as well.

Here's to bucking the trend. I do love b&w, however, I like the color mainly because I like the fact that her eye can be seen other than being hidden in the shadow. Agreed, she does look a little blown out, but, maybe a tigher crop on the bottom might solve the more prominent light from her arm.
A very lovely shot, nonetheless.

I love B&W!!
amazing photo, very involving my friend! Great tones and adorable DOF!!
I have a tip for good photo coloring New Layer>bucket tool that spills the color you chose on the image and then your favourite blending option
congratulations!!

I completely agree with you Rebecca. I like the B&W a lot better too but my reason is mostly because in the color everything looks more blown out and over-done. Thanks for the comments...

Excellent! And while both are good, I favor the black and white. One reason, is because the harsh sunlight tends to make her arms and hair look a little blownout.. The other reason, simply because it has a classic look. The shadows are also accentuated more in bw. And I'm old and set in my ways :) so appease me. lol Oh... and by the way..she's lovely!

I decided to include the original so that you can compare it to the B&W...
