About I want to thank all who commented constructively, and sensitively, on this series of photos as your comments made me realise what improvements I need to make in my next such series. You are right, the colour is intense and some reflections hide details. I also need to add I am happy to ?meet? you all, there is a very positive feeling in here, (the best photo community site I have ?tasted?). If creation goes one step further this is something people do not normally do alone, but only when they share and head towards general advancement. Internet communities, I know it as I am the creator of one, have something of real life into them as rules tend to form behaviours and it is interesting to see how each one reacts?the magic of life! So love and rose petals to all !

And now again the comment I have in all such photos for new viewers:
This is manipulated but not on the pc, This is a photo that I shot again placing it among surfaces. I have a large series of this kind of images. The surfaces alter the images giving my beloved distortion feeling to them.

Mary, I believe it is because you have done a wonderful job with the image. I really love to see your new uploads-they are like nothing else I've seen. The way the details are blurred by the surfaces, it leaves you to contemplate the message behind the image.

Karen thanx for your comment, you know I ADORE to see your comments!! it is jealousy yes... you will be surprised to see the image itself , it is aB&W photo I already uploaded here called "Not With My friend"!! How you managed to "grasp" the feeling without seeing the scene is amazing...Wow! As the image depicts a real scene of a jealous girl...
A big Kiss!

On the top left, it almost appears to be another person looking back at the laughing few. Perhaps resentment or jealousy-is my perception. I wish for a little more clarity so that I can see the faces a little better, but not to the point of perfect clarity either. I know its difficult to get what you want in these kind of situations. I really like the warm toning. There seems to be a sense of motion by the "ripple" type lines at the top of the image-which I think only enhances the image more. I would really like to know the true meaning behind the image-as they make these images very interesting. The ability to capture many mixed emotions in one frame is rather masterful. I look forward to seeing more of your shots from this series.

Hi Mary, This one is the most abstract of this series. The three faces, occupying the lower third of the image seem to be peripheral to the scene (I only noticed them on a closer look...) The distortion in them provides a ghost like image. As you didn't tell us what camera nor what settings you've used, it's hard to assess whether the yellow / brownish tone is created by a whitebalance setting, the lightsourse or the scanning (as you clearly state it's not manipulated on the PC, It's not a hue / saturation issue, I presume)

Maybe a cooler tone would be more appropriate for this shot. Obviously, that depends on the message you would like to communicate. And that is, of course, entirely up to you.... I'm just perceiving.

The abstract quality appeals to me alot. It disguises the urge I had with the others, to try to see through the effects you created. In that sence, this provides a "complete" new image, and not a superimposed effect, if you see what I mean. IMO, the best one yet...)

Cheers,

Hugo

Strangest thing of all is the emotional tone in this world. So often one may be tempted to render "this kind of thing" macabre I think but there are nice interactions going on.
