Chris, they just keep getting better and how do you keep finding them. I think the green version of Robert's car would fit better though. Nuff said, I'm off to hide now before the flack flies. Den

Lovely play of light and shadow Chris. Looks a tad over saturated in green, but then i'm at work and not on my usual monitor, so take that with a grain of salt. I found Roger Williams comment interesting, have you tried that? downlaoding a "curve", i've seen them for "Provia". What i also did was download a remote that works with my digital diary, so i don't have to hold the shutter now for 2 Minutes :), i set my mobile phone on countdwon and do the shutter with the PDA. greetings Neil

A most wonderful cottage Chris. Living in tropical Australia gives no chance to even see this type of dwelling. Your pic is so like a postcard. I'm impressed!! Regards kev :)

If I didn't know this was digital, done with a D70, I would swear it was Fuji Superia 800 ISO. This has the same emphasis on yellow-green which brings out all the delicate shades of green as in this shot. Looks more like a (technicolor) film set than someone's dwelling! I don't think you should blame the cars, etc., as it's hard to think how you could possibly have improved on this. The oblique lighting, for instance, throws all the 3D modeling of the greenery into relief. Very effective! (PS Thanks for your support--you know what I mean!)

Hi Chris, I always like your cottage shots. This one has quite a dreamy quality over it, mainly because of the softness. Excellent framing by the willow, too. Always a pleasure to watch these photos..... Please, keep 'm coming!
Cheers,
Hugo
