Gotta be one of the most beautiful places in Utah. Don't miss Arches National Monument or Canyonlands, Utah. This was shot on my last trip in December.
Hi Laurie, Outstanding shot. The vibrant red vein through the baren landscape with Moab (?) in the distance is awesome. Very well exposed. Although the white light in the lower left corner is crisp and a nice detail, I think it somewhat distracts the viewer from the primary subject, IMO being the taillights on the highway and Moab (?) un the distance. Composition-wise, I think the shot would be better balanced without it. (Attached, a slightly cropped version) The last rays of light on the right hand side of the photo, however, are excellent. Very good shot!
