Really like the idea. Perhaps a slower shutter speed to catch more movement of the rotors would be good, but the idea of the crowd as well as the Chinook is a good one.

Just been zipping thru your portfolio Neil and came across this. Coincidence? I posted a shot of a Chinook only the other day saying they're as rare as hen's teeth. And then I come across a great shot like this. Full of detail and interest. Den

Chris you are correct in this. I have Adobe Photoshop Elements, but trying to rotate the image by 1-2 degrees just created steps in the rotor blades (even though this is based on a 3Mpixel image). Also - when I looked at the people they still seemed to be vertical - perhaps the buildings weren't constructed correctly!?
But I still liked the image!

Good action shot, Neil. My only question would be whether the photo is leaning a little to the right, as shown by the lines on the main building to the left? Kind regards, Chris
