Great find, Chris
I can't help smiling at this "N" pic.
I'm not worrying about Linn, she can have it. I only hope that won't be the beginning of a search for a "C" or an "O".
BTW, that thing on the left is not the culpture of a cherub but just a branch with leaves.
Great composition, lovely flowers.
You have a great eye, Chris!
Cheers - Emgy

Hmmm. You give me some ideas. Let's see. A "V" for Voigtlanders and the Voyageur. An "F" for Fuji, or should that be a "T" and an "X" for the TX-1? Then there's "B" for Bessa (the "R," the "L" and the "T"). The Bessa's "R" can double for that funny old classic stereo camera, the Revere. Come to think of I still have that Nikon digital 910S that you all laughed me to scorn over. So I can even use an "N." I won't count my Olympus OM4 as my son is using that... Looks as if I can use pretty well anything that Nature throws up! Oh yes, how about the Widelux "W"? All, I would point out, in frequent active use. No unused "collector's" items among 'em.

Hi Chris; I'd crop down to the top of the flowers and substitute E-1 for D70 ;>). Seriously though I'm glad you're enjoying the D70 as much as I enjoy the Olympus E-1-- nothing wrong with that. I respect the capabilities of any good piece of photographic equipment. Original work. Cheers. Craig

Chris, this is a great shot, for digital that is.
I have to confess its not just N for Nikon but, its NF for Nikon F100.
I cant complain about these digital shots to much though, they're pretty good.

Chris, great image, very clever, I did eventually manage to get him to eat. I'm not likely to get treated to a meal out, he will be too busy with the camera, but I think the least he could do would be to buy me beautiful flowers for to photograph, don't you. {not that I would drag you into the middle!!!!!!}

But also for Nice... Good vibrant colours and a very well composed shot. I like the effect you placed on the D70 text in the photo, but the Nikon in the frame is, as you might've guessed, a bit too much for me....)

Cheers,

Hugo

Fortunate and Wonderful are two words I endorse wholeheartedly Chris. Never have I been so enthralled with a new piece of kit. If I ever won the lottery I would ensure all my friends out there had one too. But even then I suppose someone would want a Z3, whatever sort of camera that is.
This shot though Chris. You surely do have an eye for a shot. The flowers are gorgeous and you even have D70s growing in the garden. Nice one!

Ok smarty, then why didn't you get an F for Fuji with your 602 ;-) I am just going to have to find an O for Olympus now. Can you see what you have started here ;-)

Thank you, dear Linn, for your gracious comment!! :-)

As for the little black, face-like thingy in the top left corner I have to confess to not really noticing it until you pointed it out!! As to what it is, I have no idea!!

Kind regards, Chris

Linn Currie   {K:24426} 7/29/2004
Oh it's quite alright Mr S :-) You can rub it in as much as you want to :-) I know that one day when you lot are too old and fragile to hold the D70's, you will pass it on to me! And who knows ... my (future) Z3 might just kick some serious b*tt? :-) A girl CAN dream, can't she?

You made the oranges pop! and I will forgive the text but have to ask ... what is that on the left hand side of the image? It looks like a shiny sculpture, like a little cherub looking down? Or am I that old myself and seeing things? and mistaking leaves for a little face?

D70-less Linn
