I like it! I am delighted to see someone reference Stefan Rohner, he has an exceptional feel for portraits in particular. This is strong, all the patterns give good texture. You should definitely take this guy (R) again... model looks.

This a fine photograph! The people in it have meaning and project personality, and the viewer assembles a narrative from the arrangement. Your shot resembles esthetically and certainly in ?feeling? the enclose D. Arbus picture.

Well, this is a fine print indeed. Scanning from a print is hard sometimes, but I would have never known. I may be interested in a photo exchange. What country do you live in? Charges for shipping are out of site, but will consider. Okay I see Slovokia

You are right, of course. I finally ought to learn to retouch. (Any idea why retouching markers are so terribly expensive?) 35mm I've learned to clean properly, but getting dust off MF and LF is still a challenge.

I'm sorry if quality loss occured, this has quite a potential. I mean, it is very, very good like that, but the textures from medium format are missing in spite of the file size. I'm afraid I don't know a thing about Stefan Rohner, but allow me to say that I went "blind" (phtographically speaking) from wanting to imitate others, though it's an important activity. Now for the nits: It's most of the time worth cleaning up spots even when they "exist". Young gentleman's right breast, two white ones; right collar tip, another; right half of lower lip, another; under right eye, a dark one. It would have been a 6 if you cared for that. See you.

Hello Matej,
Yes, I can see a bit of Stefan's influence here. But I think that you have a very good style of your own! Very nice work.

W/o reading your description, I could feel the "Stefan Rohner" style here. Maybe, if she didnt smile... well, that could be an adjustment made by Matej... Right? :-)
Great job Matej. This is a beautiful picture with lot of charecter. I think you can do lot of great stuff with these two. They have great potential for making artistic portraits.
Thanks for motivation and inspiration, Matej.
Elangs.

Nothing to be said about this one... except... congratulations!!!!. This is an amazing double portrait, wonderfully exposed!!!. I really love the complicity expression of your models. They look as two sides of the same coin... the happy face of her, and the almost sad face of him...... it works it works it works terrific!!!.
