thanks for the comment tom. about the contrails-
Schipol Airport (just outside amsterdam) is the busiest airport in europe, and i kept looking up at the sky and their was always a bunch of trails. i've never noticed it during past adventures in A'dam, but kept looking up during this last trip.

thanks for the comment K! it has been pretty slow for me uploading lately, i've been soooo busy this summer!
i'm glad you liked the two trios, i thought it was cool too! couldn't come up with a clever title however, so had to resort to a lyric that was on the cd player.
my nikon works in the US, but new goverment restrictions have put a halt to creativity. i can only take pictures of american flags!

todd, great tone. i dig your choice to include the contrails. heck, they're critical for this shot. funny how they are something most photographers don't want in their images. here, along with the cranes, they speak of the relentless motion of progress. very cool!

well,the two trios here make this photograph special. it reminds me of some of your pictures that i have found really smart and enjoyable in the past ;-)
btw,is your Nikon a special model that works properly only outside US? :-P
