This is a really sweet moment that just needs a little fine tuning IMHO. I will attach a version of what I have done to see what you think. Firstly the image is a little on the cold side - too much blue in the image. Firstly on the curves layer I have 'darkened the image' but used the eraser tool to re lighten her face to 'pop' her out of the image. I have adjusted the colour balance to warm up the whole image - aiming at warmer skin tones first. I then selected the grass, feather set to 20 and added yellow and increased the saturation. Then I cropped into the baby and cloned out the lighter spots in the image, one in the foreground and a few in the dark area behind. Some highlights have blown out but they can't really be saved (contrasty conditions - not much you can do)! Like I said, a gorgeous moment - jsut some fine tuning to add impact....and only IMHO.
