Hi Shawn .... Thanks for your kind comment .... I will say this about tri-x ... it's not an all purpose film. I had loaded my camera with it because I knew I may be shooting on the set with movie lights .. 3200kev. When you use tri-x .. it must be processed at exactly 68*.... agitated every 60 sec. ... I used D76 developer. in a stainless steel reel tank. ..... otherwise I would have loaded "plus-x" in camera.

excellent photo, I like the rich tones that tri-x has. It is one of my favorate films. The only way to get the same tones in digital is to use plug-ins from silveroxide.com.
You did not upset me either. I just wanted the truth. I can handle it.

Hi Richard .......Thanks for your interest. I was the "still" photographer on the set. He's the photographer that shoots all the stills that you see in promotion and outside the theater. It was my assignment to photograph all the scenes and cast ..... but Jayne held most of all the interest. I did all my own processing, both color and b/w in my lab. All the 8x10s were printed on a 4x5 Bessler enlarger and prints were "souped" in Dektal 2:1. .... tri-x film was developed in D-76 ..AT 68* AGITATED every 60 sec.
The other actors in the movie were ...Jack E. Leonard ... Phylis Diller.. and Brian Donlevy who couldn't remember two lines in a row. My Mamiya had a viewfinder(made it easy) and a bracket handle on the left along with honeywell strobe. Thanks for your asking Richard.

I'd like to hear more about your days on the set. Did you go around all day shooting candids? Did you also do your own darkroom work? Did you shoot all the cast or just Jane?
Those must have been great days!
